This panel remover is used to take off the wood/carbon fiber panels.

 Evolv DNA 250C

The DNA 250C is a power regulated digital switch mode DC-DC converter for personal vaporizer. It features Evolv’s patented wattage control, Temperature Protection, Puff Replay, Preheat, full color TFT screen, On-The-Go USB, Reverse Polarity Protection, and onboard buttons, and a real-time clock. Evolv’s Escribe software and Theme Designer software can be used to fully customize all aspects of the interface and monitor the user experience. The DNA 250C runs on two lithium ion batteries, and features battery monitoring and an integrated 2A charger.

Display of DNA 250C

To wake the device from power off state, tap the Fire button. To generate vapor, press the fire button. To change the wattage setting for more less vapor, click or hold the UP and Down buttons.

DNA 250C Vape Mod Error Messages

The DNA 250C will indicate a variety of error states.

Check Atomizer: The DNA does not detect an atomizer, the atomizer has shorted out, or the atomizer resistance is incorrect for the power setting.

Weak Battery: The battery is deeply discharged and needs to be charged, or is damaged. If this happens, the DNA 250C will not fire the atomizer. The Check Battery message will continue to display for a few seconds after attempting to fire the device. User should remove and replace the battery.

Shorted: The atomizer or writing are short circuited.

Ohms Too Low: The resistance of the atomizer coil is too low for the current wattage setting. If this happens, the DNA 250C will continue to fire, but will not be able to provide the desired wattage. The ohms too low message will continue to display for a few seconds after the end of puff.

Ohms Too High: The resistance of the atomizer coil is too high for the current wattage setting. If this happens, the DNA 250C will continue to fire, but will not able to provide the desired wattage. The ohms Too High message will continue to display for a few seconds after the end of puff.

Temperature Protection: The heating coil reaches the maximum allowed temperature during the puff. If this happens, the DNA 250C will continue to fire, but will able to provide the desired wattage.

Weak Battery: The battery needs to be charged, or higher amp rated battery needs to be used. If this happens, the DNA 250C will continue to fire the atomizer, but will not be able to provide the desired wattage. The Weak Battery massage will continue to display for a few seconds after the end of the puff.

Return To researched: The DNA has reached a limit configured by a researcher.

Too Hot: The DNA 250C has onboard temperature sensing. It will shut down and display this message if the internal board temperature becomes excessive.

Lost Vape Paranormal DNA Puff Replay

Puff replay is a new feature on the DNA 250C that allows the user to save and play back puffs. The use of a temperature sensitive material is required such as Nickel, Stainless Steel, Titanium, or other material that increases in resistance when heated. Puff Replay works in either temperature protection or wattage control modes and will also prevent dry hits when used with wattage control.

To use Puff Replay set the device to desired power level and operate it normally. Once a satisfying puff is achieved, activate Puff Replay to replay the last puff on all subsequent uses. Puff length is not a factor and the user will not be limited to the length of the previous puff. Disable Puff Replay to resume normal operation or find a new puff to save. If Puff Replay cannot be enabled the coil is not compatible.

Charging the batteries
Internal Charging: The DNA 250C has a built-in 2A USB charger. It automatically detects the type of USB power supply it is connected to, so it can be plugged into the standard PC USB ports or higher power charger. The max charge current is based on the cell capacity as programmed in EScribe.

External charging (Recommend): Remove the batteries from device.
Follow charging instructions with using charger.

USB On-The-Go
The DNA 250C supports USB On-The-Go. An OTG adapter may be plugged into the Micro USB port on the device to charge any other device capable of charging via USB. Charging starts and stops automatically and OTG charging will not over-drain the DNA 250C

How to Use iStick MELO? 

Power on/off: 

5 quick clicks of the fire button to turn on/off the device. Keep holding the fire button to take a puff when the device is powered on.
Charging: simply plug the device in to a wall adapter or a computer via USB cable to charge.

Choose a vaping mode: 

when the device is powered on, press the fire button 3 times in quick succession, the device will display current vaping mode. Press the + or - button to switch among VW, Bypass, TC-Ni, TC-Ti, TC-SS, TCR-M1, TCR-M2, TCR-M3 modes and then press the fire button once or stay in the interface for about 10 seconds to confirm the vaping mode you chose.

Adjust wattage: 

in VW mode, the wattage can be adjusted by pressing +/- button. Keep holding +/- button to increase/decrease the wattage rapidly. In TC (Ni, Ti, SS, TCR-M1/M2/M3) mode, first press the fire button 4 times in quick succession and then press +/- button to adjust the wattage.

Adjust temperature: 

in TC-Ni/TC-Ti/TC-SS/TCR(M1,M2,M3) mode, simply press + button or - button to increase or decrease the temperature setting.

Set TCR value: 

in power-off state, keep pressing the fire button and the + button simultaneously, then you will enter the TCR (M1,M2,M3) set menu:

1. Press the fire button once repeatedly to choose among M1, M2 and M3 modes;
2. Press the + or - button to increase or decrease the TCR value according to the material of the coil you use;
3. Keep pressing the fire button or stay in the interface for about 10 seconds to confirm your setting. Adjustment buttons lock/unlock: keep pressing + button and - button simultaneously for two seconds when the device is powered on to lock and unlock the two adjustment buttons.

Turn display upside down: 

in power-off state, keep pressing + button and - button simultaneously for two seconds, the screen display will rotate 180 degrees.

Stealth on/off: 

in power-on state, keep pressing the fire button and - button simultaneously to switch between Stealth On and Stealth Off.

Turn ENU (Temperature Protection for Charging) on/off: 

in power-on state, press the fire button twice in quick succession repeatedly to turn ENU on/off. When the device is plugged in to charge in ENU-on state, if temperature of the device is lower than -5℃ or higher than 50℃, the screen will respectively display “BATTERY TOO COLD” or “BATTERY TOO HOT”. In both situations, the device won’t charge.
