Uwell Crown 5 V Tank Review

The Uwell Crown 5 Tank is the 5th generation of this popular sub ohm tank. The Crown 5 V has a capacity of 5ml. There are 3 coils to choose from:

• UN2 0.23ohm Single Kanthal Mesh (65-70W)
• UN2-2 0.3ohm Dual Kanthal Mesh (50-55W)
• UN2-3 0.2ohm Triple Kanthal Mesh (65-70W)

The coils also use the Pro-FOCS flavour technology which has been present on other Uwell atomizers for a while but I would be lying if I said I knew what that meant – other than I know Uwell usually supply tons of flavour!  What's more, the Self-cleaning technology where any condensation is channeled back into the coil to be re-vaporized to prevent leaks.

On the base of the tank is the airflow adjustment ring to tailor the vape to your preference. The tank can be refilled via the quarter-turn threaded top fill system.

Tesla T-REX Pod Mod Kit Preview

T-REX comes from Tesla Brand, known for their dual battery PWM devices like the Invader series, seem to have been concentrating more on the pod mod market of late.

The kit consists of two main parts – the mod component and the cartridge or "pod". It is available in five different colours (gunmetal, rose red, turquoise, coffee gold, and black).

The T-REX Kit is powered by single replaceable 21700/20700/18650 battery with a max output of 95W. But obviously, this will be lower if using a 18650 battery.

If you need to recharge in a hurry then the Type C USB port can be used at up to a 1.2A charge rate. Also, you can select the Bypass mode for full battery power which will diminish as the battery charge declines. Once your battery is inserted, the bright 0.96” TFT colour screen springs into life. The information is well laid out and easy enough to read outside. 

On the rear of the mod is a dial for adjusting the airflow to your preference. Another ace feature is the 510 adaptor which is available separately so you can use the mod with any other 510 base atomizer.The device has a top fill port which has a child-lock.

The terms “DTL” (Direct to lung) and “MTL” (Mouth to lung) refer to different vaping styles and we tell you more in our Guide. The coils have a Kanthal element and are wicked with Organic cotton.
