How to lose weight in summer?

Drink more water
Drinking more water can accelerate the body's metabolism, eliminate toxin and effectively solve the problem such as dry skin. Replenishing sufficient water can timely supplement the moisture that the body loses. The amount of water that one needs to drink per day are associated with activity, environment, and even weather change. Normally the moisture one needs for a day is about 1.5 liters or so. If calculated by cup, it is eight glasses of water. But it also depends on one's daily activity amount. One reasonable way to do is to drink one hundred ml to one hundred and fifty ml of water each time and drink it every twenty to thirty minutes.

To lose weight, you should keep a bottle of water with you whether you are outside or in the air-conditioned room. Don't wait until you get very thirsty. Supplementing water in time is more important than any other way of weight-loss.

Do less strenuous exercise
Don't think that exercise is the best way to lose weight. In summer, it is the time when your Yang qi is at its fullest. Exercises help bring Yang qi to your body. High temperature in summer and strenuous exercises may help you slim down, but you will after all have some discomforts due to excessive absorption of Yang qi.

It is suggested not to for strenuous exercises between 10 AM to 4 PM. But you should pay more attention to small daily exercises, such as taking the stairs instead of elevator, do some simple stretching and workout. If it is not enough, in the evening, you can go play badminton together with your friends.

Eat less snacks
A lot of people like to eat ice creams and drink a lot of chilled and sweetened drinks in summer. Many think the sugar that they get from these can offset by exercises. The fat content of them is more than you imagine. They can contribute to your weight loss significantly.
